It wasn’t all brawls and fisticuffs at joint practices between the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers this week. Apparently, there have been some bridges that have been repaired instead of burned.
Patriots quarterback Mac Jones said Wednesday that he’s patched things up with Panthers defensive end Brian Burns. The two players were involved in a controversial incident last season when Jones grabbed Burns’ ankle while diving after a fumble.
Panthers players went on to call the play “dirty” at the time, resulting in a minor controversy for Jones.
