Ask any New England Patriots player and they will tell you that practice performance makes game day reality. The team’s 27-17 loss against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night should therefore not come as a surprise, at least if quarterback Mac Jones is to be believed.
Jones pointed out after the game that the team was not at its best coming out of its bye week and preparing for the upcoming matchup against a quality opponent such as the Colts. It certainly showed, with the Patriots falling behind 20-0 by the time the fourth quarter began.
