With Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola and Patrick Chung home in New England, Keshawn Martin and Chris Harper have been fielding punts in warmups. Martin caught the first one, for what it's worth. He had a 15.3-yard return average on three punts against the Texans before fumbling his next attempt. Harper returned three punts for 17 total yards before his fumble against the Broncos.
Matthew Slater returned a couple kickoffs in warmups, and it looks like James White will get a turn to do the same shortly.
