Lions keep the ex-Patriots connection going, hire Harold Nash Jr.

Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn said he wasn't going to cut and paste everything the New England Patriots did and bring it to the Lions.

It was clear, though, he would be bringing along some of the philosophies and, eventually, people he spent over a decade with. That's happened time and time again over the past two weeks and showed up again Friday, when the Lions hired Harold Nash to be the team's new head of strength and conditioning.

Nash, 45, had been let go by the Patriots earlier in the week.
