The Patriots got back to practice on Sunday, their first session with the 53-man roster including some practice squad players in place for 2015. Former Pats WR Kenbrell Thompkins is back in the fold as a practice squad WR.
Last season Malcolm Butler came out of nowhere to not only make the team but played a significant role in the Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks. At the time Butler had been a long-shot to make the roster but this year he’s in position to be the team’s top corner with Darrelle Revis now on the Jets.
