Bill Parcells has been in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for 12 years. Now he’ll finally be a part of the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.
On Tuesday, Patriots chairman Robert Kraft announced that Parcells will be inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame as a contributor this year.
Parcells was the head coach of the Patriots from 1993-1996, eventually leading the team to a Super Bowl appearance. The “Big Tuna” took a team that went 2-14 in 1993 and made the playoffs within two seasons.
In a statement, Kraft credited Parcells for turning around the Patriots’ fortunes in the mid-90s.
