FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount was fined $18,231 for grabbing the facemask of Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and ripping off his helmet late in Sunday's victory.
An enraged Blount said after the game that Suh was a dirty player.
Suh was not fined.
The play that sparked the exchange between Suh and Blount was a 2-yard run with 3:43 remaining in regulation, as the Patriots led 35-14 and had replaced quarterback Tom Brady with Jimmy Garoppolo.
