A court filing made it appear as if Robert Kraft had been ordered to attend an arraignment hearing later this month, but his attorney has since clarified that the New England Patriots owner is not required at the hearing.
Defense attorney Jack A. Goldberger said in a statement to The Boston Globe that the notice of appearance filing is standard, "but in fact the lawyer appears for the defendant in a misdemeanor case" under Florida law.
Kraft has been issued a "low level" arrest warrant -- similar to a traffic ticket -- and Goldberger's statement indicates that Kraft will not be in court later this month.
