The New England Patriots reportedly are opening to dealing, but not simply for the sake of making a move.
The Athletic’s Jeff Howe on Tuesday afternoon offered some insight into how New England is operating before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.
“The Patriots have told teams they’re open for business with a handful of veterans, particularly those on expiring contracts, per sources,” Howe posted to X less than two hours before the deadline. “The question is how much of a reset is worth it when they’re trying to establish momentum for 2025 when those vets will only net late picks.
