Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will go head-to-head with Cam Newton for the first time ever on Thursday night when the Ravens face off with the New England Patriots. Jackson was on the bench when the Ravens and Carolina Panthers played in 2018, so being able to play against Newton for the first time is a dream come true.
It’s not because the 3-5 Patriots are having a rough season (though that’s not bad news for the scuffling Ravens), but because Jackson has looked up to Newton for years.
