Entering his fifth and final collegiate season, wide receiver Kyle Williams was coming off a career-year in which he posted over 800 yards and hauled in six scores.
Those career-bests were quickly shattered, as Williams became one of the country’s most productive receivers in 2024 posting 1,198 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. For the receiver, improvement in one key area was a major factor in the statistical spike.
“For me, it was just working on after the catch, making sure once I got the ball I could turn anything into a touchdown.” Williams said Friday. “Being able to turn a five-yard hitch into a 60-yard touchdown, a three-year screen into a 60-yard touchdown.
