One day after being removed from the New England Patriots’ injury report, Kyle Dugger has returned to the list. As the team announced on Saturday, the starting safety and team captain is questionable to play against the New York Jets because of an ankle injury.
Dugger, 28, first hurt his ankle during the Patriots’ road loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4; he left the game in the second quarter and did not return. The injury eventually forced him to miss the subsequent game against the Miami Dolphins as well, but he has since returned to the lineup.
