Kyle Dugger is dealing with a new injury.
The Patriots' top draft choice landed on the injury report for this first time this season with an ankle ailment. He was limited Wednesday, along with Julian Edelman (knee), Adam Butler (shoulder), and Shaq Mason (calf), though all of the others were listed last week, too.
Jermaine Eluemunor (ankle) didn’t practice Wednesday — he was placed on injured reserve and will miss the team’s next three games — and James White was missing, too, but the running back’s absence wasn’t injury related.
In the first two months of his NFL career, Dugger has been used as a matchup piece for Bill Belichick on defense, and his role continues to increase on fourth down.
