Devin McCourty will be honored for his work with Boston Uncornered on Tuesday night, a local charity that’s intent on steering gang-involved youth in a more positive direction.
McCourty sported the group for the NFL’s “my cleats, my cause” initiative last season and will be dubbed an “Uncornered Champion” in a virtual event.
Speaking with WBZ’s Steve Burton, McCourty explained that the charity work has particularly fulfilling because he’s been doing it alongside his family.
“Even though it’s difficult, the time constraints trying to do this and do that, it has really helped me a lot that it’s not just my mission,” McCourty told Burton.
