Key matchup Bryan Stork, Patriots’ interior linemen vs. Dontari Poe

The Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs meet Saturday in the AFC divisional playoffs. One of the key matchups will center around 6-foot-3, 346-pound Chiefs nose tackle Dontari Poe and the Patriots’ ability to neutralize him on the interior line.

Why the Patriots have the advantage: Stork and a guard, whether it’s Josh Kline, Tre’ Jackson or Shaq Mason, will double Poe throughout the game. While the Pats have been inconsistent up front all season, they’ve had some good performances against Ndamukong Suh and J.J. Watt, so there’s something to fall back on.

Why the Chiefs have the advantage: Poe is outstanding, deals with double teams on a regular basis and crushes one-on-one assignments when his motor is well-oiled.
