Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas offensive tackle and projected first-round pick, took reported pre-draft visit with Patriots

The window for NFL teams to host prospects on pre-draft visits closed last week, but there are still name trickling out. The latest of those is Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr., a projected first-round pick who visited the New England Patriots at one point in the process.

Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston was first to report the visit.

Banks Jr., 21, is coming off a three-season career with the Longhorns that saw him start all 50 games he appeared in and earn multiple individual honors. In 2024 alone, he received the Outland Trophy as the nation’s best lineman, the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, and was named first-team All-American and first-team All-SEC.
