The NFL came down hard on star Patriots receiver Julian Edelman for three separate incidents he was involved in during New England’s 24-12 win over the Buffalo Bills last Sunday.
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Edelman was fined a total of $63,504 for two illegal crack-back blocks and for blocking a Bills safety after signaling for a fair catch during a punt return. The crack-back blocks cost him $26,739 a piece, while the block during the fair catch cost him $10,026.
Follow-up on Julian Edelman's three fines vs. Bills: One was for signaling for a fair catch on a punt and then blocking Siran Neal.
