The New England Patriots have participated in quite a few big games over the last two decades, but few have reached the same legendary status as Super Bowl 51 against the Atlanta Falcons. The biggest comeback in Super Bowl history, the game is more commonly referred to as 28-3 in reference to the Falcons’ lead in the late third quarter.
That lead was not meant to last, with the Patriots scoring 25 unanswered points in the game’s final 17 minutes of regulation to force overtime. Once there, the team won the coin toss and Tom Brady led the offense on an eight-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to win the game.
