FOXBORO -- Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman returned to practice today, just 26 days after breaking his left foot in a victory against the Giants.
Edelman appeared to have a slight limp while jogging during the media portion of the workout, but it's also possible he was just testing the foot with some extra exaggeration. Either way, Edelman is still a ways away. A source said there is no update to his recovery timetable, which is expected to span 6-8 weeks, so the absolute earliest Edelman would return to the field would be Week 16 against the Jets, ironically in the same building where the injury occurred.
