Julian Edelman kills on deflate-gate, concussions and Belichick/Brady impressions (Shutdown Corner)

There was a touching tribute between father and son and two hilarious impressions of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, but the biggest takeaway from an "E:60" feature on Julian Edelman, which ran a day after the NFL appealed its deflate-gate defeat, was the receiver's emphatic defense of his New England Patriots.

"We play by the rules, just like everybody else," Edelman told Jeremy Schaap. "Coach is always a stickler about everything, and it's just that we're always winning that people always try to bring something out."

The something Edelman refers to, in this instance, is the accusation that the Patriots — specifically Brady — orchestrated a scheme to deflate footballs below the minimum allowed PSI level before the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.
