FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Richmond (Va.) Flying Squirrels are the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, so why was New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman donning their blue cap with a red bill in the locker room on Thursday.

The Squirrels, who play in the Eastern League, appreciated the gesture by retweeting a picture of Edelman and also "liking" it.
