ELIZABETH, N.J. — A New Jersey judge has rejected the request of an NFL linebacker to have any conviction on revenge porn charges wiped from his record.
Former Jets player Jermaine Cunningham's request to enter a pretrial intervention program was denied Wednesday. He is charged with invasion of privacy and unlawful weapons transport.
Prosecutors say Cunningham distributed racy photos of a woman in violation of a law that forbids disclosing images without the consent of someone "whose intimate parts are exposed" or who is engaged in a sexual act.
Attorney Tony Fusco says the woman wasn't fully nude and that the images were only set to friends, not widely online.
