Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones made a play Sunday that may have turned the tides in their game vs. the Bears.
In the fourth quarter with the Bears driving in New England territory, Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky threw deep own the left sideline, targeting Anthony Miller. Jones got tangled up with Miller while leaping for the ball, but he came up with it. The ensuing Patriots drive resulted in a James White touchdown that extended New England’s lead to 38-24. The Bears answered on their next drive to cut the lead to 38-31.
See for yourself, this may be one of the most athletic plays by a Patriot defender this season.
