New England Patriots fans haven't had too much reason to think about Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas in recent years. But after some comments to ESPN, he's likely to have plenty of fans around these parts.
Thomas, who's made the Prol Bowl in all eight seasons he's played since being drafted by the Browns No. 1 overall in 2007, spoke to ESPN's Pat McNanamon this week about how NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has been handling the whole Deflategate scandal and the overall tone of the offseason.
Thomas had somewhat of a mixed comment on Goodell's actions, referring to the NFL's investigations as "ridiculous witch hunts" while also saying that Goodell's actions were "brilliant.
