The Patriots, for the most part, took the high road about Deflategate after their Super Bowl LI win.
Browns left tackle Joe Thomas did not.
Thomas, an outspoken critic of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and his heavy-handed suspension of Tom Brady, relished the sight of the commissioner handing out the Lombardi Trophy to New England.
Goodell was met with thunderous boos as he addressed the crowd following the Super Bowl.
Thomas, speaking today on NBC Sports' PFT Live, said he wanted to see Goodell in an uncomfortable spot.
“I especially enjoyed how over-eager Roger was to smile at all the Patriots and give them a big handshake, but then as soon as he gave them the trophy he scurried off the stage like a rat,” Thomas said.
