FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In a reflection of the transition unfolding with Jimmy Garoppolo stepping in as New England Patriots starting quarterback for Tom Brady for the first four games of the regular season, Garoppolo handled Brady’s weekly interview on sports radio WEEI on Monday morning.
This was the first week of radio interviews on WEEI, and Brady reportedly won’t be doing them until he returns as the starter in Week 5 of the regular season.
When it was mentioned to Garoppolo that Brady complimented his work ethic Sunday, Garoppolo said, “It’s an honor for him to say something like that.
