Jimmy Garoppolo is ready to if Bill Belichick calls his name on Friday in Carolina.
But he still doesn’t know if that will happen.
A day after Tom Brady made his case to play in the third preseason game this week, Garoppolo said he hasn’t been told by Belichick who will start.
“Your guess is as good as mine. We’ll find out together I guess,” said Garoppolo, who added he’ll prepare like he is going to be the starter.
Brady, who is suspended by the NFL for the first regular season games, wants to play after missing the first two preseason contests, including last week’s after he suffered a pregame cut to his finger.
