Two players, including a defensive starter, for the New York Jets will miss Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots because of an injury.
Starting safety Tony Adams injured his hamstring during last week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys and did not practice all week. He is out meaning Adrian Amos is likely to start next to Jordan Whitehead on Sunday.
The Jets will also be without backup interior offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer. He popped up on the injury report Friday with a concussion. Schweitzer missed four games in 2022 with a concussion.
