Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo denied that any of his players went out too late while in London last week.
Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne seemed to have called out some of his teammates for going out ahead of the team’s game overseas against the Jaguars. He referenced his younger self opting to party before the San Francisco 49ers’ Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 when explaining that New England could have focused on the game better.
“So going out overseas, we have to be locked in. I’m not trying to point nobody out, but it’s just we have to focus on what matters,” Bourne told MassLive’s Mark Daniels.
