New England Patriots coach Jerod Mayo indicated on Thursday that the tight end room was the most consistent room for the organization.
The tight ends have been a major source of production for the offense, as rookie quarterback Drake Maye has leaned heavily on Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper this season.
Henry has recorded a team-high 66 catches for 674 yards and two touchdowns, while Hooper has recorded 38 receptions for 430 yards and three touchdowns. Hooper was one of New England's best free agent signings in the offseason.
“That’s probably our most consistent room in the building right now," Mayo said on the Patriots' tight ends, via Patriots.
