The New England Patriots got shut out last Sunday in a 34-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints. It was a bit of a surprise to see how far the team has fallen.
One might surmise that former Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers would celebrate the team’s downfall after failing to agree on an extension in free agency. But there’s obviously no hard feelings from the talented wideout the Patriots signed as an undrafted rookie back in 2019.
“Nah, if anything, it made me feel bad for them because like I said, I got a lot of friends, a lot of family over there,” Meyers said, per team-provided video, via NESN.
