FOXBORO – Jake Bequette has had a busy summer. Given the task ahead of him, he probably didn’t have much choice.
In his fourth year with the Patriots, Bequette is attempting to switch positions from defensive end to tight end. Before training camp began, Bequette did his best to stay ready for the change.
“I had anyone and everyone throwing to me,” Bequette said. “I was out there running routes in multiple states and locations and just trying to get a better feel for the position and trying to get to the point where I wasn’t totally rusty after five or six weeks off.
