During the New England Patriots 54-13 thumping of the New York Jets on Sunday, kicker Nick Folk reached a key milestone early in the contest when his 39-yard attempt in the second quarter became the 300th made kick of his career.
Folk joined 34 other kickers all time to have made 300 or more field goals and the fifth active kicker to do so. Robbie Gould, Mason Crosby, Matt Prater and Justin Tucker round out the active list. Foulk would later hit career field goal number 301 in the third quarter.
Following the game, teammate Jake Bailey shared a congratulatory message over Instagram for the 13-year veteran.
