The Indianapolis Colts apparently now realize what the rest of the football world already knew: Scott Tolzien is not an adequate bandaid for injured quarterback Andrew Luck.
According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jacoby Brissett – whom Indy traded for less than two weeks ago – was informed he will get the start Sunday against Arizona while Luck continues to nurse himself back to health after offseason shoulder surgery.
Interestingly enough, the actual decision to Brissett – the former New England Patriot – was actually made on Monday, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports.
