Following the New England Patriots’ 30-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, quarterback Jacoby Brissett addressed the team in the locker room. His message: there’s plenty of time to turn this around.
“It’s a long season. To be hopeful,” Brissett said of his message. “When we started this climb, we never thought it was going to be just — you’re on the escalator, you’re just going up automatically. We knew there were going to be bumps in the road, we were going to get knocked down, and be tired, and be hurt. That doesn’t stop the climb, it just puts a little adversity in the climb.
