Drake Maye, who was drafted third overall in the spring in hopes of becoming a future starter at the game’s most important position, sits at No. 2 behind starting option Jacoby Brissett.
Maye will take over at some, and head coach Jerod Mayo did not rule out the rookie making a run for the top job this training camp. One practice in, however, it is clear that Brissett is still ahead of him.
