Six New England Patriots will get to wear a “C” on their jerseys this fall.
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett, center David Andrews, defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr., linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley, safety Jabrill Peppers and long snapper Joe Cardona have been voted captains for the 2024 season, the team announced Monday.

Under head coach Jerod Mayo, it marks the first time that captains in Foxborough will have the honor stitched on. And it also marks the first time that three of whom — Brissett, Peppers and Cardona — have been named captains during the Patriots tenures.
