New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett stood up for his struggling offensive line when speaking with the media on Wednesday.
The Patriots have given up nine sacks on the season, which is the eighth-most in the NFL. They have struggled predominantly in pass protection as the unit continues to mix and match player combinations. Injuries have been the biggest issue, along with personnel problems.
Cole Strange, Sidy Sow and Vederian Lowe are starters currently rehabbing injuries. The trickle-down effect has been struggles at the quarterback position.
Brissett has only thrown for 398 yards and a touchdown this season.
