Jabrill Peppers, Matthew Judon among Patriots’ next contract extension candidates

The New England Patriots have been quite busy this offseason when it comes to player signings. Not only did they take care of several members of their own free agency class, they also handed out extensions to some building-block players: David Andrews, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Christian Barmore all signed new deals over the last few weeks.

On Tuesday, another name joined that list when Jahlani Tavai and the team reached an agreement on a three-year, $15 million extension. The pact, which carries a maximum value of $21 million, will keep the linebacker in New England through the 2027 season.
