The New England Patriots signed free agent Jaylinn Hawkins in late March after he played the last season with the Los Angeles Chargers.
While the safety hasn’t played a game yet with the Patriots, he seems to fit right in. Fellow safety Jabrill Peppers had a lot of nice comments to say about the late free agent addition Wednesday.
Patriots coaches give players points for their hard work during preseason practices.. The hard work that Hawkins put in him made him the points leader for practice, and also earned some respect from his teammates.
“Oh, man, that guy, effort all day,” Peppers said about Hawkins on Wednesday, per team-provided video.
