Jabrill Peppers added to Patriots’ injury report on eve of season opener vs. Bengals

The New England Patriots added one of their best players to the injury report on the eve of Sunday’s regular season opener. Safety Jabrill Peppers is officially questionable to play against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a hip issue.

Peppers, 28, projects as a core member of the Patriots defense heading into the 2024 season. A versatile, physical and outspoken presence in the team’s secondary, the first-time team captain forms one of the NFL’s best safety tandems together with fellow veteran Kyle Dugger.

However, Peppers was a limited participant in practice early in training camp and held out of preseason entirely.
