When talking about what it was like to face his former team on the biggest stage in football, LeGarrette Blount is straight to the point.
“It was perfect,” Blount said with a smile.
The running back had two stints with the New England Patriots, the first of which lasting through the 2013-14 season. From there, Blount signed a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was released and subsequently re-signed by New England.
Blount helped lead the Patriots to their 28-24 Super Bowl XLIX win over the Seattle Seahawks and their comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
