FOXBOROUGH - When rookie cornerback Christian Gonzalez kicked off his football career at a young age, the Carrollton, Texas native dared to dream of the day he would finally be able to take care of his family of six.
Last week, the New England Patriots’ 2023 first-round draft pick’s far-off fantasy became reality as he announced on social media he had closed on a home in his family’s home state.
“It was amazing,” Gonzalez said of gifting the house to his family. “It was kind of surreal. It’s still, you know, processing, but it was just such a crazy feeling.
