Bill Belichick says that New England Patriots rookie Isaiah Bolden is doing “a lot better” after his scary injury Saturday night.
Bolden was hospitalized following a collision with teammate Calvin Munson that left him motionless on the turf in the fourth quarter of the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. During his Monday appearance on WEEI, Belichick was asked to provide an update on Bolden’s condition as of Monday morning.
Belichick said that he spoke with Bolden and said that the defensive back was “alert,” noting that Bolden checked out well enough medically to fly.
