The New England Patriots suffered a series of injuries during their Thursday night game against the New York Giants and one of the players to exit the contest was tight end Matt LaCosse; he injured his knee in the first quarter and played just 15 total offensive snaps because of the ailment — one that is expected to keep him out for some time now: according to NFL Network’s Mike Giardi, LaCosse sprained his MCL against the Giants.
The injury will reportedly force the tight end to miss “a few weeks,” which means that the Patriots’ tight end depth will get tested once again.
