New England defensive lineman Christian Barmore has missed the Patriots’ previous three games because of a knee injury, and now the former Alabama standout will miss at the least the next four.
New England placed Barmore on injured reserve on Friday. The designation requires a four-week absence, so Barmore won’t play against the New York Jets on Sunday, Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving night, Buffalo Bills on Dec. 1 and Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 12.
A second-round choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, Barmore played in every game and was on the field for 55 percent of New England’s defensive snaps as a rookie.
