Joe Milton’s future with the Patriots became a little bit murky after the team opted to sign Joshua Dobbs in the opening days of free agency, with New England reportedly being open to the idea of trading him.
The Patriots are exploring a possible trade of Milton and the quarterback has trade interest, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported. Fowler also tossed a potential trade partner for New England in a deal involving Milton.
“One team to potentially watch for is the Dallas Cowboys because they are looking for a good backup, a young backup, with upside that they may not get in the draft,” Fowler said on ESPN’s “NFL Live.
