Even in the middle of August, the longstanding rivalry between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots rages on.
On Twitter Wednesday, former Patriots tight end Benjamin Watson and former Colts head coach Tony Dungy got into a rather entertaining back and forth regarding the use of artificial crowd noise in empty NFL stadiums this fall.
The exchange began when Dungy responded to a Watson reply to an Adam Schefter tweet about the NFL considering a league-wide policy that would enable artificial fan sound to be heard in stadiums.
Watson joking replied “RCA Dome” in reference to old allegations of the Colts piping in crowd noise during a matchup between the two teams in 2007.
