INDIANAPOLIS — The 2018 quarterback class, considered one of the strongest and richest in talent in some time, assembled for the NFL scouting combine. Yesterday, many of the prospects were on display showing off their skills throwing the football.
It’s no secret the Patriots need to once again draft the successor to Tom Brady, even as the GOAT continues to defy Father Time. The belief is Brady’s heir apparent will likely be found in this draft, given the available bounty of arms.
“They won’t draft a guy they don’t believe in. They believed in (Jimmy) Garoppolo, that’s why it worked,” said Charley Casserly, on hand at the combine in his post as an NFL Network analyst.
