Jerod Mayo believes it was best for both the New England Patriots and Joshua Uche to go their separate ways.
The Patriots on Monday traded Uche to the Kansas City Chiefs for a 2026 sixth-round pick.
Mayo weighed in on the personnel move made by executive vice president Eliot Wolf and company.
“Josh is one of the first guys that I spent a lot of time watching a lot of film when he was in college,” Mayo told reporters at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, per a team-provided video. “We still have a great relationship.
